Jack Kavanagh

In 2012 Jack Kavanagh suffered a life changing spinal cord injury leaving him with 15% muscle function, in the years since Jack has challenged the perceived limitations of his situation. In 2014 Jack gave the acclaimed TEDx Talk "Fearless Like A Child, Overcoming Adversity" , in 2019 was awarded as one of "Ten Outstanding Young People Of The Year" and has received several international awards for his documentary Breaking Boundaries.
Jack is a Pharmacist, Speaker and Non Executive Director. At present he sits on the board of directors of the National Disability Authority and Center for Excellence in Universal Design as well as leadership development organisation Common Purpose Ireland. He is actively engaged as an advisor to the World Health Organisation in relation to digital and assistive technologies and progressing the delivery of health outcomes for people with disabilities. Jack loves an adventure, is a keen hand cyclist, budding sailor and can be seen online sit skiing down snowy mountains at speed.

Michelle Abbey

CPO Corporate & Business Services, Glanbia. With significant experience in senior HR leadership positions, Michelle’s focus is on creating future-focused HR strategies that empower and develop People and enable business growth. Prior to joining Glanbia, Michelle has held senior HR roles across the Telecoms and Professional Services industries. Areas of professional passion for Michelle are transformational change and the future of work and she recently held a Transformation Director role on Glanbia’s global HR Transformation Program. Michelle holds a BA (Hons) in International Business from University of Ulster and a Masters in HR Strategies from DCU.


Brían Sutton

Client Relationship Manager at Great Place to Work® Ireland Brían has been with Great Place to Work® Ireland for over 10 years. Eoin O Brien 

Eoin O’Brien is the Lifelong Learning Manager at the South East Technological University Carlow. He plays a key role in all aspects of the off-campus activities of the Faculty of Lifelong Learning. This includes the management of the Springboard+ programme portfolio at the Institute. He has a keen interest in education and learning. Eoin has just over 20 years’ experience in the sales/marketing domain predominately within the Higher Education sector. He has studied with UCD, IPA, The Open University, SETU Carlow and is currently undertaking his PhD with Lancaster University
